Very similar to the TGV-Duplex cab...

...but adjusted to the international services of the PBKA...

...and here one can also see the door which leads out of the powercar. The engines are to the right and the cab is to the left, divided from the machinery by another door

The first motorized bogie of the PBKA is directly under the cab. In the upper-right corner of the photo one can see a part of the door, the nose of the trainset points to the left

The opened automatic Scharfenberg-coupler of the TGV-PBKA and an opened flap at the side, which makes it easier to get to the coupler, i.e. for maintenance work

The PBKA on its way to Paris, here it stops at Bruxelles-Midi

...and is standing for once at the very front of Cologne Central Station

It has never been a big secret that the cab is the best place on a Thalys PBKA... one has a non-plus ultra view onto the track (and the tacho, *hehe*), driving the best train, it is very comfortable... ;-)

Before putting the TGV-PBKA in service 1997, many test runs were done.

The PBKA in the station Liège-Guillemins, one can see that it is being modernized and in the future the station's architectural details will remind of Lyon St. Exupéry, because it is the same architect (Calatrava).
